Top Singapore Web Hosting Companies Ranked by Website Speed (2026)

Six Singapore web hosting companies ranked by measured GTmetrix homepage performance, with screenshots, methodology and practical buying guidance.

Benchmark scope: We compared the public homepages of six Singapore web hosting companies using the supplied GTmetrix reports. Every report was generated on 4 August 2026 from the same Seattle, USA test location with Chrome 142 and Lighthouse 12.6.1. We rank by GTmetrix Performance score, then use Structure and Web Vitals to explain the result. This is a reproducible website-experience snapshot, not a test of every hosting plan, server response time, uptime, support quality or Singapore-user latency.

When choosing a Singapore web hosting company, product features and support matter, but we also believe the provider should demonstrate good performance on its own website. A hosting company controls its public site and understands how pages are delivered, so that experience is a useful signal of performance discipline. It is not proof that every customer website will achieve the same result: themes, plugins, images, scripts, caching, CDN configuration and hosting plans all affect speed.

On that measured basis, QUAPE ranks first with a 93% Performance score and GTmetrix Grade A. CLDY follows closely at 91%, while Oryon places third despite recording the fastest Largest Contentful Paint. The full results and screenshots are below.

Top Singapore web hosting companies by website speed

Rank Company Grade Performance Structure LCP TBT CLS
#1 QUAPE A 93% 93% 1.3s 4ms 0
#2 CLDY A 91% 94% 1.2s 88ms 0

#5 Exabytes D 50% 88% 2.7s 655ms 0.03
#6 HostSG E 40% 68% 8.4s 0ms 0.31

LCP is Largest Contentful Paint, TBT is Total Blocking Time, and CLS is Cumulative Layout Shift. Lower is better for all three Web Vitals columns.

#1

QUAPE

GTmetrix A | 93% Performance

QUAPE is a Singapore hosting and digital-solutions company offering business hosting, managed WordPress hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, domains and web development. Its official site emphasises regional connectivity, managed services and direct technical support. In this benchmark, QUAPE produced the strongest overall balance: a 93% Performance score, 93% Structure score, almost no main-thread blocking and no measured layout shift.

GTmetrix homepage report for QUAPE, generated 4 August 2026 from Seattle using Chrome 142 and Lighthouse 12.6.1.

Why QUAPE ranks #1

The 1.3-second LCP was not the absolute fastest in the group, but the 4ms TBT and zero CLS show a page that became usable quickly and stayed visually stable. That consistency is why QUAPE ranks first rather than relying on a single headline metric.

#2

CLDY

GTmetrix A | 91% Performance

CLDY provides domains, web and WordPress hosting, business email, managed VPS and cloud services for Singapore customers. Its website positions the service around fast Singapore cloud infrastructure, security, backups and round-the-clock support. CLDY came a close second with the highest Structure score in the comparison and an excellent 1.2-second LCP.

Why CLDY ranks #2

Its 91% Performance score was two points behind QUAPE, while zero CLS indicates a stable visual experience. For buyers who value a polished customer-facing platform and a broad path from shared hosting to managed cloud services, CLDY is a strong speed-led alternative.

#3

Oryon Networks

GTmetrix C | 75% Performance

Oryon Networks combines Singapore web hosting with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, business email, cybersecurity and managed support. Its official site describes more than 25 years of experience and 24/7 assistance. Oryon recorded the fastest LCP in this test at 1.0 second, meaning the largest visible content appeared quickly.

GTmetrix homepage report for Oryon Networks, generated 4 August 2026 from Seattle using Chrome 142 and Lighthouse 12.6.1.

Why Oryon Networks ranks #3

The overall score was held back by 463ms of Total Blocking Time. Visitors may see the main content early while still waiting for scripts or interactions to settle. Oryon therefore ranks third on the complete GTmetrix Performance score rather than first on LCP alone.

#4

Vodien

GTmetrix D | 53% Performance

Vodien is an established Singapore provider with domains, shared and WordPress hosting, business email, VPS, dedicated servers, security and web services. Its site highlights Singapore server resources, NVMe storage and 24/7 support. The tested homepage displayed its main content in 1.4 seconds, but the broader experience was weakened by a high Total Blocking Time.

Why Vodien ranks #4

At 1.9 seconds, TBT was the highest in this six-site comparison. The 0.14 CLS result also points to visible movement during loading. Those front-end costs pulled the overall Performance score down to 53%, placing Vodien fourth despite a respectable LCP.

#5

Exabytes

GTmetrix D | 50% Performance

Exabytes Singapore offers domains, web and WordPress hosting, business email, VPS, dedicated servers, cloud, ecommerce, security and digital services. The company now presents itself as a broader AI-powered digital solutions provider rather than only a web host. Its homepage earned a strong 88% Structure score and remained visually stable with 0.03 CLS.

GTmetrix homepage report for Exabytes, generated 4 August 2026 from Seattle using Chrome 142 and Lighthouse 12.6.1.

Why Exabytes ranks #5

A 2.7-second LCP and 655ms TBT reduced the overall Performance score to 50%. The gap between Structure and Performance suggests that a page can follow many technical best practices while still delivering heavier runtime work or slower visible content under the tested conditions.

#6

HostSG

GTmetrix E | 40% Performance

HostSG is a Singapore hosting company offering shared hosting, business cloud hosting, dedicated servers, domains and DNS services. Its official site says its servers are located in Singapore and promotes local management and 24/7 ticket support. In this run, HostSG had no measurable Total Blocking Time, so JavaScript execution was not the main issue.

GTmetrix report for HostSG showing 40 percent performance, 8.4 second LCP, zero TBT and 0.31 CLS
GTmetrix homepage report for HostSG, generated 4 August 2026 from Seattle using Chrome 142 and Lighthouse 12.6.1.

Why HostSG ranks #6

The 8.4-second LCP and 0.31 CLS were the weakest results in the comparison. Visitors could wait substantially longer for the main content and see more layout movement while the page loads. That combination explains the 40% Performance score and sixth-place ranking.

Our verdict: QUAPE leads this speed snapshot

QUAPE takes first place because it combined the highest GTmetrix Performance score with a strong Structure score, negligible blocking and zero measured layout shift. CLDY was an exceptionally close second and actually recorded the best Structure score. Oryon showed that a fast LCP alone does not guarantee the best total experience: its page displayed key content quickly, but heavier blocking reduced its overall result.

For us, a good Singapore web hosting company should take its own website performance seriously. The provider homepage is its public demonstration of technical priorities. Still, this ranking should be one input rather than the entire buying decision. Test the exact plan and a representative copy of your own site before signing a long contract.

How to use this ranking when choosing a host

  • Run more than one test: results can change with traffic, cache state and third-party scripts. Test at different times and use a location close to your audience.
  • Benchmark your own site: a lightweight provider homepage and a WooCommerce store have very different workloads. Ask for a trial or money-back period and test a real migration copy.
  • Check plan limits: compare CPU, memory, processes, storage I/O, inode and database limits, not only advertised disk space.
  • Confirm backups and restores: ask how often backups run, how long they are retained, where they are stored and whether restores cost extra.
  • Test support before buying: send a precise pre-sales question and judge the speed and technical quality of the answer.
  • Review renewal and exit terms: introductory pricing is temporary. Confirm renewal cost and how to obtain complete website, database, DNS and email exports.

What the screenshots do and do not prove

These reports measure what a remote browser experienced while loading each company homepage. They include front-end decisions such as image weight, tag managers, consent tools, animation and JavaScript, as well as hosting and network delivery. That is useful because visitors experience the complete page, not an isolated server.

However, the tests do not identify the hosting plan behind each homepage and do not isolate origin response time. The Seattle location also favours no provider as a direct simulation of Singapore visitors. A stronger future study would repeat several runs from Singapore, publish medians, record time to first byte and test comparable customer workloads. We have therefore described this as a homepage performance ranking rather than a definitive ranking of server infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions

Which Singapore web hosting company was fastest in this comparison?

QUAPE ranked first by the GTmetrix Performance score at 93%. CLDY ranked second at 91%. Oryon recorded the fastest individual LCP at 1.0 second, but its higher Total Blocking Time reduced its overall score to 75%.

Does a fast hosting company homepage mean its customer hosting is faster?

Not necessarily. It shows how well the provider delivered and optimised its own public site in this test. Customer results depend on the selected plan, application, content, caching, CDN, database and traffic. Use this ranking as a signal and test your own workload.

Why rank by GTmetrix Performance instead of LCP alone?

The Performance score considers several aspects of the loading experience. LCP is important, but a page can show its largest element quickly and still block interaction or shift content. The Oryon and Vodien results illustrate why the broader score gives a more balanced ordering.
